Our next meeting (POTLUCK) is Monday, November 11st, at the Junior Farmers Building #1 at the Norfolk County Fairgrounds located at 172 South Drive Simcoe, Ontario

Our biggest event of the year is in October.
Our educational booth will be at the Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show.
Come see an enclosed live hive at work and find the queen bee.
Learn from local beekeepers.
Get your yummy honey sticks, local honey, bee pollen and beeswax products.

*Note that any (Norfolk County Fair) volunteer that volunteers for set up, tear down, or 3 shifts of 3-4 hours during the duration of the Fair will receive a badge that covers free admission and parking for the entirety of the Fair...Plus a $10 meal voucher per shift to use at the food vendors on the premises.
Any member can sell their honey and beeswax products provided they volunteer for at least 2 shifts
or helps with set up and/or tear down of the display. Many hands make for light work!
20% of your sales will be donated back to the association to offset costs of our Sponsorship spot in the southeast corner, under the Grandstands.

Protect the Bees
We want to help get the bee populations back up after a devastating loss period. Our members are dedicated to supporting the industry through communication. We are available to help you with any question or issue you may have that involves bees.
Join Us Today
We welcome new members to our association. All you have to do is come to our next meeting and sign up. There is a yearly membership fee of $20 per person or $35 per couple, if you want voting privileges. We welcome you to show up and take part!

Learn Beekeeping
We offer both formal and informal beekeeping education. You can visit an apiary (bee yard) to safely experience the joys of beekeeping and you can sign up for a number of courses approved by our organization and the Ontario Beekeeping Association at ontariobee.com

An Introduction to Bees and Beekeeping has been created by some of our experts.
In the presentation you will learn about the roles of a honey bee, the honey making process and see some equipment used for everyday beekeeping. You can even ask real local beekeepers all about your bee questions.
